Caitlin, a native of Wisconsin, has been a member of the Girl Scouts and a camper or counselor at summer camps for as long as she can remember. Through these activities, she developed a deep appreciation for both adventure and the outdoors. As a math education major, she has not only taught mathematics in a formal setting, but has in addition spent three years working as a math tutor, helping students with subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra to Calculus II. Caitlin also finds technology fascinating and fun and describes herself as a "tech geek." This unique combination of skills and interests in mathematics, technology, and outdoor adventure fits to a "T" the position of online math teacher at a school focused on environmental studies and outdoor activities. Caitlin is thrilled to be working at Conserve School and loves to share her excitement and enthusiasm with students. In her free time she enjoys a wide variety of hobbies, including rock climbing, hiking, knitting, and hula-hooping. To see Caitlin's teacher website, click here.
