Recently, Head of School Stefan Anderson and Information Technology and Media Specialist Rob Houle, and 8 students spent an afternoon helping out in the Sylvania Wilderness. Each spring, the Land O' Lakes Fish and Game Club trains and organizes volunteers to do a clean up and survey of all the campsites in the Sylvania Wilderness area. The Conserve School took on the responsibility for all of the sites on Loon Lake, a few lakes away from Big Bateau, Conserve's entrance into the Sylvania via water. Mr. Anderson, Mr. Houle and the students braved high wind to paddle into the sites on a cold but beautiful day.
