Congratulations to Marshall Yaklin on completion of his flight training and also on his marriage to Ruth Scott.
"Conserve School changed my life. It expanded my horizons and showed me more of the world. It ignited a passion for travel and adventure in me. Senior year of high school I went to King's Academy, an American style boarding school in Jordan where I studied Arabic and learned about the region's complex geopolitics and humanitarian issues. After graduating, I attended the United States Naval Academy and majored in History and Arabic. At the Naval Academy, I had a rich education and some pretty incredible experiences. I soloed an airplane for the first time, got to command a 105 foot boat through New York harbor, and sail a 44 foot sailboat on an 800 mile round trip. In 2017 I graduated and commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy and moved to Pensacola, Florida to begin the two year flight training program. This June, I completed Primary flight training, was selected for advanced training as a Helicopter pilot, and married my best friend, Ruth. Within the next year, I hope to complete advanced training, earn my wings, and be stationed in San Diego to fly the MH-60S Seahawk".
