Greetings from Conserve School,
My favorite part of being Head of Conserve School is strolling the grounds and observing students enjoying the natural beauty and outdoor activities that Conserve School’s Lowenwood campus has to offer. Whenever I see Conserve students engaged on campus – taking a contemplative afternoon walk, collecting macroinvertebrates while knee-deep in Big Donahue Lake, or taking advantage of the many other opportunities available – I am reminded how fortunate both they and I are to have the benefit of support from the many friends of Conserve School.
That support has given our students the opportunity to become passionate and well-educated about the environment by living and learning here at Conserve. Conserve School has given them the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to go forward and make a difference. Providing young people with the opportunity and capacity to become difference-makers is especially critical at this point in time. Never has the world had a more urgent need for difference makers. The list of environmental concerns is long and sadly it is growing longer every day.
To continue to prepare young men and women to be leaders both in their chosen careers and in environmental stewardship, Conserve School needs your ongoing support, and so we ask you to consider making a donation to Conserve School's Annual Fund. Your financial support will enable us continue to affordably offer this unique and important opportunity to the world’s young people.
We also need your help in identifying and connecting with future Conserve School students. Do you know a promising young person who would enjoy and benefit from a semester at Conserve School? We continue to offer an outstanding academic program interwoven with outdoor activities and environmental themes – made affordable for all qualified students, regardless of need, through our scholarship program. Please look over our website and share it with someone you think might be a future difference-maker.
